The city of Hamilton possesses a great history and has developed its own culture. You will find a very broad range of services and interests as well as age ranges in the city. Hamilton offers two well established post secondary institutions. Mc Master University plays a large part in the five, well-respected hospitals of the Hamilton Health Sciences. Mohawk College offers a variety of courses and continuing education programs. Copps Coliseum, is a sports and entertainment arena which has the capacity to seat over 19,000 people and often hosts exciting concerts and events.
If you are looking to go South this winter, stay in town and fly out of the Hamilton International Airport. Or spend a day visiting the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum to soak up some history and check out the neat airplanes.
